Our Story
Serbian Community Association of Australia (SCAA) is a community based, not for profit organisation which provides the Serbian community with information, advocacy, referral and social support.
For almost 30 years, the Association has been delivering information, advocacy and inclusive support services, ranging from the settlement program for Serbian refugees and newly arrived migrants in the 90s to more recent social support services for the ageing community. Our professional approach, extensive experience and in- depth cultural knowledge has enabled the Association to provide high-quality service as through best practice and compliance.
Our innovative programs are built on principles of respect and diversity and are undertaken with the aim to engage and empower members of the Serbian community to be well-informed, resilient and active participants in society and effective decision makers in their lives.
The projects developed by the Association promote social integration, inclusion and cohesion and aim to enhance collaboration and partnership with the wider community.
